Help Reining for Freedom Expand — Free Healing for Veterans

Welcome to Angel Trail Ranch - Your Ultimate Destination for Equestrian Products

Reining for Freedom is a veteran-founded nonprofit that provides free equine therapy to

veterans and first responders living with PTSD.

We’ve been offered 5 additional acres of land, which would allow us to build a proper barn,

expand therapeutic trails and obstacle courses, and serve more veterans completely free of

charge — but we need community support to secure it.

Our Mission: Healing Through Horses

Reining for Freedom was founded by Amber, an Iraq War veteran who found her own healing

through working with horses — helping transform Angel Trail Ranch from a patch of forested

land into a functioning ranch while discovering the powerful connection between humans and

horses. That experience became the foundation for offering equine therapy to others who have

served. Angel Trail Ranch

This program is built by a veteran, for veterans and first responders, and is designed to help

participants develop:

 Emotional regulation and self-management

 Confidence and trust

 Reconnection with body and mind through purposeful horsemanship

All services are provided at no cost to the veterans we serve — because healing should never

come with a price tag. Angel Trail Ranch

Our herd — the horses who make this work possible — are more than partners; they are

teachers. Each horse brings a unique personality and history that helps participants connect,

feel heard, and learn through presence and interaction. Their calm strength is a living example

of the very resilience we hope to cultivate in every veteran who walks through our gates.

Why We Need the Land

This generous offer of 5 additional acres would allow us to:

✅ Build a weather-safe barn to protect horses and participants year-round

✅ Expand therapeutic trails and obstacle courses designed for trauma-informed equine work

✅ Create safe, intentional spaces for groundwork and riding

✅ Serve more veterans and first responders — free of charge

Securing this land will strengthen every part of our equine therapy program and ensure long-

term stability for both people and horses.

How Your Donation Helps

Your support goes directly to the heart of our mission. As a registered 501(c)(3), 100% of

donations fund the equine therapy program — supporting horses, facilities, and free

therapeutic services for veterans and first responders. Angel Trail Ranch

Here’s how contributions will be used:

Land acquisition — securing the 5 acres

 Barn construction materials and labor

 Trail and obstacle course development

Ongoing care for therapy horses and program expenses

A Call to Our Community

If you believe in:

Honoring the service of our veterans and first responders

 Accessible, trauma-informed healing

The steady power of horses to help people find their footing again

— then your support matters.

Please consider donating or sharing this campaign. Every dollar brings us one step closer to a

space where veterans can heal, grow, and experience hope — free of charge and surrounded by

encouragement.

Together, we’re not just securing land — we’re building a lasting place of belonging, recovery,

and connection.

Thank you for standing with Reining for Freedom.
